Subject: Nice finger picking
Happy day,

I think the finger-picking sounds finger-licking good, particularly in Wheel. Enjoyed the Nobody's Girl sequence as well.

This was my second Phil Lesh and friends, it was probably the best , yet. The LC was a great place to have this show. Cool shakedown street and great food, probably the biggest veggie eggroll i've ever ate in my entire life. With gallons of duck sauce.

Joan Osbourne's voice was impressive to say the most. It was an amazing melodic adventure between Larry Cambell's outstanding guitar licks.

Before the show, a train passed shakedown st. I mentioned something that they should play Casey Jones, and to my suprise, they did! A very sped up one at that! Great Show A+ I managed to get the CD after the show , 3 discs for $25 - pretty awesome.

Terrific recording, hot show.

Subject: Crispy
Yes, me likey this recording. Haven't heard the loud channel thing yet but it sure sounds good and bright in general. In addition to the fine job recording, I think Phil's band is really getting a good groove. What a fun summer tour this has been! Better and better every week.

Subject: Left channel overmodulated
Not a complaint (never complain about anything that someone does for everyone else's enjoyment) - just an observation - the left channel is too hot and buzzes out quite a bit. Next time, lower the levels just a bit for the left channel.

Right channel was perfect.

Subject: Maybe the best?
I have downloaded most of this tour just to check it out. this may be the best of all the recordings. Great focus, nice vocal sound and the high end is really crisp.

Good job Mr. Taper!

Subject: Nice work TC
Hey TC, just checked out this recording. Man nice work, it sounds great. I see you are really using that R-4 to it's fullest potential. The matrix of the 2 pairs of mics into the same recorder really pays off. This sounds excellent. Kudos
